Terms and Conditions
For participation in the Weston Hospicecare's Midnight Beach Walk.
- All walkers must complete an official Midnight Beach Walk registration and the closing date for registration is Friday 16th September 2011 at 5pm. The registration fee is non refundable.
- Once registered you will be sent an allocated numbered badge, Please do not swap your number and please ensure that you wear your badge on the night.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for the event and agrees to walk with the participant at all times. The adult must sign the registration form on their behalf.
- On the night, if you are unable to complete the 5 mile walk it is imperative that you inform a marshal else you will be presumed missing.
- No dogs are allowed on the walk with the exception of Guide Dogs.
- We ask that you return all your sponsorship money by 24th November 2011.
- Although a thorough risk assessment will be completed for The Midnight Beach Walk and qualified first aiders will be in attendance, if you do suffer an injury during the Midnight Beach Walk, Weston Hospicecare, The Howards Group, The Weston Mercury nor any of the associated sponsors cannot be held responsible. All participants will be taking part at their own risk and are asked to take care when walking and ensure they are equipped with suitable footwear and clothing.
- We suggest you bring a torch for extra visibility and where possible walk with an acquaintance.
- No alcohol is permitted on this walk - Weston Hospicecare hold the right to disqualify any walker who is under the influence of alcohol during The Midnight Beach Walk.
