27th February- 4th March
It’s the perfect winter warmer to support your local Hospice!
‘Soup’s Up’ is a great way to see off your winter blues and help your local Hospice! It is fun, easy to do, and delicious. Just share some hearty soup with friends, family or colleagues and make a donation to Weston Hospicecare.
Here is your recipe to success:
Pick a date
Any day during week commencing 27th February, but you can do it all week and could have a different soup every day if you like!
Choose your venue
You can hold a Soup’s Up anywhere you like: at work, home, school, or other local venues
Invite people! Tell them all about it!
You can email, use Facebook or twitter, and even tell your local newspaper in order to promote your event. Remind people when the date is coming up and let everyone know why it is important they support us!
As many people as you like can take part in Soup’s Up. Remember, it just doesn’t have to be soup that gets people donating!
This year, we need your help more than ever!
We help more than 1,300 local people with life limiting illnesses in Weston-super- Mare and the surrounding areas as far afield as Highbridge, Burnham on Sea, Cheddar, Draycott, Axbridge, Blagdon, Wrington, Yatton and Congresbury. Our aim is to add life to days, when days cannot be added to lives.
Whether a patient’s journey with us is long or short, we’re here to make their precious time as comfortable as possible. It costs £3 million year to provide this care, only 19% of which is Government funded.
So please hold your own perfect winter warmer to support your local Hospice!
