 The Friends of Weston Hospicecare are
some of our best fundraisers. Each year they are responsible for raising thousands
of pounds for the charity and also are excellent ambassadors within their local community.
Some of them are part of the founding group that with their commitment and determination
helped establish the Hospice back in 1989. "The Friends" is an umbrella term for all of the
people throughout the area who have banded together to form Support Groups to raise funds
for the Hospice or to assist the Fundraising Team by providing volunteer help.
 The Friends
meet regularly through the year to plan various events and collections.
Events include fayres, coffee mornings, breakfasts, concerts, collections and art exhibitions.
There are Support Groups in Worlebury, Kewstoke, Congresbury, Hutton, Blagdon &
Winscombe. We are always looking for new members in any area and if you would like
