Weston Hospicecare has moved from its Worle Homeware charity shop to a unit by Sainsbury’s Worle.
The hospice will take over the former Store 21 shop in a move which is being described as a really positive retail move.
The charity’s Worle Fashion store, which is also on Worle High Street, will remain where it is.
Emma King, Director of Retail for the hospice, says “This move will mark a significant improvement in the standard of space we have in our shop portfolio.
“Our aim is to create the best charity shops in our area, and with the recent opening of our Superstore, this next move signals our intent.
“We thank everyone who has shopped and volunteered in our Worle Homewares store and we cannot wait to meet our customers in our new store.”
It’s expected the grand opening will take place in August.
Weston Hospicecare’s retail income generates £1.8m to the charity each financial year thanks to generosity of volunteers, donors and customers.
