A Weston Hospicecare supporter is taking part in the charity’s Big Virtual Challenge to raise money for the charity.
Bjorn Edney from Bridgwater is raising money for the hospice. He’s taking on The Big Virtual Challenge’s 100 mile monster marathon. To help cover the distance he is offering his delivery services while he runs.
It’s been dubbed “Rent a Runner” by Bjorn himself who says “I take on the hard & sweaty runs, so you don’t have to!”
He continues “Some of you may be aware that Weston Hospicecare were there for our family friend James (Dex) and his family, providing vital end of life care and support in his final weeks prior to him sadly passing away in March 2019.
“Save your lungs, legs and joints and sit back and munch on your Dairy Milk with a bottle of bubbly, safe and happy in the knowledge I am out there running for you.
“It’s all for charity, so you can get an extra buzz knowing that your money goes to an awesome cause, Weston Hospicecare”.
Book a delivery by leaving a donation on his JustGiving page by clicking here.
The delivery service will end on 7 December which allows Bjorn to complete his challenge in the 30 days to secure his monster marathon medal.
A huge thanks from everyone at Weston Hospicecare, Bjorn!
