Weston Hospicecare are delighted to partner with Me Time! Massage and Well-being to be able to offer participants of the upcoming Mendip Challenge a sports massage after their walk.
Sports massages of approximately 12 minutes will be available at Event HQ (Weston Cricket Club) from around midday. The treatments will be available for a small charge to anyone wishing to make use of the post-challenge treatment.
Me time! Massage and Well-being will be donating 50% of their profits to Weston Hospicecare.
Walkers will also benefit from other after party essentials such as a live DJ courtesy of Way Back Wayne, expert pet advice from Independent Pet Company, a BBQ and bar by Weston Cricket Club, a set from The Steepholmers (Weston’s very own sea shanty group), fitness advice by Nuffield Health and even being able to view some of the best new cars Howard’s Motor Group have to offer.
Jane Murch, Events Manager, says “We absolutely cannot wait to see hundreds of supporters taking to the hills. It will be the 31st year the Mendip Challenge has taken place in support of Weston Hospicecare.
“This year, we’d encourage our fabulous supporters and volunteers to hang around after the event. There will be live music and a bar to enjoy!”
The hospice do have limited on the day sign ups for the 10 and 5 mile route ONLY. To register on the day for these, visit our Mendip Challenge webpage to check the registration times at Weston Cricket Club. Simply turn up as early as possible during these time periods to register.
Best of luck to all of our Mendip Challengers, and remember come prepared for all weather, stay hydrated, follow the route guide (available from HQ on the day) and stay safe. In an emergency, call 999 before contacting the Event Manager.
