CV Gower Funeral Directors has raised £4,351.35 at its annual charity day in support of Weston Hospicecare and the RNLI.
The fun-filled fundraiser included activities such as face-painting, name the teddy, a raffle and a tombola as well as other family games.
The day concluded with a balloon release in memory of loved ones who have passed away.
Rachel Mansfield, a community fundraiser for the hospice, said it was a fantastic day to be involved in.
She said: “Thank you to CV Gower Funeral Directors for hosting this event to support two excellent local charities.
“I have never seen this event so busy in the past and it was great to see so many people engaging and enjoying themselves all in aid of supporting local causes who rely on the support from the community on a daily, weekly and yearly basis.
“We raised £4,351.35 which is incredible and on behalf of Weston Hospicecare I would like to thank everyone for dedicating time to support the event and to those who donated throughout the day.
“The hospice provides free services to those with life-limiting illnesses and only receives 20% of its funding from the NHS, so events like this are essential.”
The hospice has to raise more than £3.334million per year to support the free services provided to those with life-limiting illnesses.
