Tickets for Strictly Fun Dancing 2019 will go on sale via Weston Hospicecare’s website at 8am next Thursday, 24 January.
The Grand finale will take place on 23 March in the ballroom of Weston-super-Mare’s Winter Gardens.
Last year’s event, which was the first, sold out within a day and demand is expected to be strong once again so fans are advised to be quick if they want to get their hands on tickets.
Those eager to get their hands on tickets will need to visit www.westonhospicecare.org.uk/strictlyfun/ where tickets will be available to buy for £17.50 per person.
So, get prepared to dress up and join the couples at the Winter Gardens for a glamorous night of entertainment as they take to the dancefloor at the end of 10 weeks of expert training, all in aid of the hospice.
Get behind your favourite couple and see who is crowned as the Strictly Fun Dancing champions of 2019 before dancing the night away yourself at the conclusion of the contest.
Event organiser Kelsey Dehaney says: “This is a fabulous event for everyone in the community to enjoy while supporting Weston Hospicecare.
“We were blown away with how popular it was last year, in our first year organising the event, and we loved how everyone enjoyed themselves on the night. When we returned to the hospice, some of our patients loved looking at the photos and watching the video, which was lovely.
“We raised more than £22,000 in one night of glitz and glamour last year and we cannot wait to do it all again!”
This year the event will be sponsored by Weston restaurant Demetri’s Taverna and the judges will be confirmed soon.

Every year the hospice has to raise more than £4.2million to support the expert and compassionate care given to those with life-limiting illnesses in Weston-super-Mare and North Somerset. The NHS provides a fifth of the funding meaning £3.3million must be raised through retail, donations, gifts left in wills and fundraising events and opportunities.
