The Wedmore 40/30 charity cycle will go ahead on Sunday 27 September to support Weston Hospicecare and St Mary’s Church.
It was originally going to take place on 5 July and was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The course starts and finishes at the Post and Wicket in Wedmore. Cyclists will visit beautiful Somerset landmarks such as Cheddar Gorge, the Mendip Hills and the Somerset levels so it truly is a stunning ride.
Riders can choose from a 12-mile family ride, a 30-mile route, a 40-mile route and a combined 70-mile course.
Wedmore 40/30 organiser David Eccles said: “We’ve got a fantastic event planned for all keen cyclists.
“There is a route option for everyone so be sure to come and have a wonderful ride.
“We’re determined not to let the coronavirus scupper our event. We have had plans approved by the authorities to keep everyone safe.
“Come and have a wonderful ride and raise money for charity.”
It cost between £4-£35 to take part. And, sales will go to the hospice and St. Mary’s Church.
