The event begins and finishes in the Olympic Stadium and provides a scenic course that is flat and fast-paced. Runners will follow the route along the Amsel River and through the Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark. Amsterdam is known as one of Europe’s most stunning cities, and the Amsterdam Marathon allows runners to take in all of the major sights in a fantastic world-class event.
Start Area B Stadionweg
Start Area B is at the Stadionweg, right outside the Olympic Stadium. Each start wave corresponds with an expected finish time. The colour on the bib number corresponds to your permitted start wave. Access to the start waves will be open from 08.00 hours.
