Brace yourself for Weston Hospicecare’s Fire and Ice Walk coming to The Royal Hotel on Saturday 1 October 2022.
Overcome the anticipation of extreme temperatures in a huge mind over matter double dare with Weston Hospicecare’s Fire and Ice Walk!
Experience dramatic temperatures on the soles of your feet in the hospice’s latest double header challenge.
You’ll be briefed by two time Guinness World Record holder, Scott Bell, from Firewalk UK on how to stay safe.
Set yourself a mind over matter challenge by securing your space today. Participants must be over 12 years old.
Our brave participants can register for free in exchange for a pledge to raise at least £150.
The Fire and Ice Walk is raising money for the hospice which is based in Uphill and serves Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset and Sedgemoor by caring for adults with life-limiting illnesses.
It costs £4.5million each year to keep the hospice open with 80% of that being provided by the kindness and generosity of supporters.
The hospice’s Events and Challenges Officer, Zelah Ellis, says “This is a real mind over matter test. It’s a super-fun fundraiser and promises to be an excellent challenge.
“We cannot wait to see our supporters taking part and the best part is we are able to offer spaces for free in exchange for a minimum fundraising amount.
“Why not give it a go? It’s a fabulous and exciting activity to get involved with.
“We cannot wait to see you, our wonderful supporters, there!”
