The Big Virtual Cycle is a fundraising event for Weston Hospicecare that allows you to cycle a specific distance across 30 consecutive days between 22 May and 31 August 2020.
You can do your challenge your way, whether it’s all in one go or little and often. You set your goals, you decide your pace and you get to show your support for the hospice’s vital work.
We wanted to allow everyone from families and beginners to advanced cyclists to get involved and so there are two sets of distances to choose from:
BEGINNER
ADVANCED
GOLD: 75 miles (weekly distance 17.5 miles) SILVER: 50 miles (weekly distance 12 miles) BRONZE: 30 miles (weekly 7 miles)

How do I prove it?
You can use a range of phone apps or exercise watches to track your cycle distance over the 30 days. All you need to do is send a screenshot of your final distance to us at the end to receive your medal.
It doesn’t matter how you complete your cycle challenge over the 30 days, showing your solidarity and raising much-needed funds for the hospice is the most important thing. Joining The Big Virtual Cycle team and raising money will make a massive difference and means so much to us all at Weston Hospicecare.
How do I start?
