Why leave a gift to Weston Hospicecare?
Make it easier on friends and family
A Will makes it easier for your family and friends to ensure your wishes are fulfilled. Without a Will, this process can be difficult, stressful and time-consuming.
Help to minimise inheritance tax
If you’ve got a Will, it can help reduce the amount of inheritance tax that needs to be paid on your estate. Leaving 10% or more of your entire estate can reduce Inheritance Tax payable on your remaining estate from 40% to 36%.
Protect the rights of your partner
If you and your partner aren’t married or in a civil partnership, you don’t have the same automatic rights as those who are married. You can make sure your partner’s looked after by naming them in your Will.
Our promise to you:
- We appreciate and respect that your loved ones come first when writing your will
- We respect your privacy and will never ask how much or the type of gift you have left in your will. We understand that your will is a personal document and should be dealt with carefully and confidentially
- We will never pressurise you to leave a gift
- Your gift will help us provide vital end of life care for patients and their families when they need it most
- Your gift will help us offer care and support within the community through our community nurse specialists
- Your gift will help our Family Support Team provide families with pre and post bereavement support for as long as they need it
- We will continue to focus on adding life to days. Your gift will be used carefully and cost-effectively. You can view our plans for the future by clicking here
- Most importantly, we will handle your gift with care, sensitivity and respect
Together, we can care for future generations.
