Harry from the hospice’s Communications Team has been undergoing training this year to take part in the Virtual London Marathon on Sunday 3 October.
He is running with friends and they are going to follow their own route in the local area to raise money for the hospice.
Harry has worked in the team since April 2018 and thought it was time he did some fundraising to support the hospice.
Harry says “I’m not a seasoned runner by any stretch of the imagination. However having been here for three and a half years I feel obliged to do something totally bonkers to support our incredible clinical team.
“I have seen through various pieces of work and conversations I have had with services users just how much difference the dedication of our incredible doctors, nurses and consultants makes to local people. For that reason, I decided to take on the challenge.”

Harry finishes with “A huge thank you to everyone who is supporting my fundraising and I’m in total awe of what you do!”.
