National Guardian - Freedom to speak up

Patient Will Service

Our Patient Will Service is designed to give our patients peace of mind. If you’re a patient at Weston Hospicecare, call us to get a unique reference number to be able to use the Patient Will Service.

It is important to have a valid Will to:

  • Ensure your financial affairs are in order
  • Ensure your wishes are adhered to
  • Save money, time and stress for your loved ones
  • Ensure your children are cared for by trusted guardians
  • Plan for tax purposes
  • Support your favourite charitable cause and leave your own personal legacy. Thanks to the support of our local solicitors, we are able to offer a limited number of appointments to our patients to write their wills, free of charge*, in exchange for a donation to Weston Hospicecare. Appointments can be held at a solicitor’s office, or dependent on individual circumstances, can be held in our In-patient Unit or the comfort of a patient’s own home. For more information on our Patient Will Service, please contact our Gifts in Wills department on 01934 423900 or email giftsinwills@westonhospicecare.org.uk *Weston Hospicecare’s Patient Will Service is not valid for ‘last-minute’ wills. Complex wills, for example, due to tax implications, may also be subject to additional solicitor costs.
