Open Gardens
Open Gardens returns for 2023
Open Gardens is a community fundraising initiative. Supporters, staff and volunteers open up their gardens for the public to view to raise money to support the hospice.
The initiative has been hosted in gardens across North Somerset raising thousands for the hospice. It’s also heard many a great story, seen some delicious homemade cake and an infinite amount of tea and coffee.
Since 2016, the initiative has raised more than £21,000 to support Weston Hospicecare with hundreds of supporters visiting gardens, meeting new friends and supporting their hospice.
We are currently recruiting for the 2023 summer season (May – September) for a festival of green fingered fun so please get in touch!
Kicking off the year is currently a date at the hospice’s Jackson-Barstow House. Supporters are invited to attend to enjoy the splendid gardens at the hospice and enjoy refreshments.
Also, look out for some fantastic metal garden daisies which are being sold to raise money for the hospice as part of the initiative. They are a fantastic way to decorate the garden and have an interchangeable centre which means you can put whatever photo you choose within.
