The Tree of Light is back for another year!
What is the Tree of Light?
The Tree of Light is a place to reflect and remember those who are not able to spend the festive period with us, whilst supporting your local hospice with donations in their memory.
The Sovereign Centre partner with us and kindly gives us use of their centerpiece Christmas tree on the lead up to Christmas Day.
You can visit our volunteers at the Tree of Light to write your own dedication and loving message as a tribute to a much-missed loved one.
Our volunteers then help to adorn the Tree with a Christmas decoration of your choice, all handmade by our volunteers and community supporters, attached to your written message.
The Tree of Light will be attended by our volunteers on the following dates:
Saturday 7 December – 10am to 2pm
Tuesday 10 December – 10am to 2pm
Thursday 12 December – 10am to 2pm
Thursday 12 December (late night shopping) – 5pm to 8pm
Saturday 14 December – 10am to 2pm
Tuesday 17 December – 10am to 2pm
Thursday 19 December – 10am to 2pm
Thursday 19 December (late night shopping) – 5pm to 8pm
Saturday 21 December – 10am to 2pm
Please note that in our volunteers’ absence, you are still able to make a donation via card and write your messages for the Tree of Light. Please leave all written dedications in the small red post box located in the middle of The Sovereign Centre, at the Tree of Light.
