We’re inviting big-hearted businesses to come together to support hospice care in North Somerset.
Joining our Business Club is a fantastic way to show your company’s commitment to the local community.
We are asking businesses to pledge their support for Weston Hospicecare for a year through sponsorship, participation of their employees in our events, Gifts in Kind (ie a Florist could donate flowers once a month) or by making us their Charity of the Year.

The hospice’s social media, digital and traditional marketing and communications channels are managed by an in-house Communications Team at Weston Hospicecare. Over the past year, the hospice has achieved the most engaged Facebook presence in comparison to all other South West based hospice’s and a select few of the highest achieving hospices and other like-sized charities across the UK.
Other achievements include registering (cross-channel; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube) the following metrics between 18 July 2021 – 18 July 2022;
- 2,865,277 impressions
- 141,808 engagements
- 23,210 unique link clicks
- We’ve recorded an average of 28.37 engagements per social media post versus a competitor average of 17.30 engagements per post
- We had the most engaging Facebook page for 66% of the past year and well ahead overall
- Overall we have 9,500 social media followers
- We’ve had more than 150,000 website views over the course of the reporting period
