National Guardian - Freedom to speak up
Your monthly donation of just £7.64 (one minute of care) will help a local person make the most of the time they have left
Time is the most precious thing we have.
Every minute matters, especially at the end of someone’s life.
That’s why we are counting on you to support our ‘A MINUTE A MONTH’ campaign.
It costs £11,000 a day (£7.64 a minute) to provide local people with the end of life care they deserve. We would really appreciate it if you could be part of that care.
Your minute really matters.
All campaign supporters will receive an exclusive pin badge.
“My dad loved going to the day hospice.  He really enjoyed the social side of it and the lovely meals (he couldn’t get over that it was all free of charge).
Dad was 93 and had cancer.  He was a proud man and never complained about anything.  I was so relieved when the hospice sorted out his pain relief.  It made such a difference to the end of his life.
I’m really happy to support the A MINUTE A MONTH campaign as a way of saying thanks.”
Heather, A MINUTE A MONTH supporter.

THANK YOU!

“We are duty-bound to make sure we can meet the needs of our community and that is why we have launched this very important campaign.
The campaign needs to raise funds to support the hospice for one day a month so that we are able to continue to offer end of life care to everyone who needs it.
That means we need 1,440 people to give £7.64 (a minute of care) every month. Every minute matters.
We are blessed with the loyal support of our community and I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has already signed up and given their minute.
It’s great to know we can depend on you.”
