Pines for pounds is back this year after an excellent debut year last Christmas.
The initiative provides the public with a Christmas tree collection service in exchange for a donation to Weston Hospicecare and is coordinated by Weston Rotary in support of the charity.
It will take place on Saturday 8 January 2022 and there are up to 1000 collection slots available.
Supporters, within specific postcodes (identified below), can book a slot via Weston Hospicecare’s website by completing the booking form on this page. Click here to access it separately.
On the day, supporters need to ensure the trees are placed in an obvious collection location (I.E at the end of a driveway).
The collection will strictly take place in the following postcodes:
- BS22
- BS23
- BS24
- BS25
- BS49
- TA8
- Plus Locking, Locking Parklands and Haywood Village.
Supporting the Weston Rotary are Burnham Rotary, Axbridge Rotary and Young Farmers.
The last event raised more than £5,500 for the hospice with only 500 spaces available.
