Strictly Fun Dancing

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR STRICTLY FUN DANCING 2027

APPLICATIONS CLOSE FRIDAY 16^th OCTOBER

Weston Hospicecare are looking for 8 couples to sign up for 10 weeks of dance training in our seventh Strictly Fun Dancing for Weston Hospicecare fundraiser. You will be trained in two styles of dance, the Waltz and the Salsa, both of which you will perform at the Grand Finale.

Training will take place weekly in a two-hour lesson on Saturday mornings between 10am-12noon starting on Saturday 9^th January at Kewstoke Village Hall. The Grand Finale will be at the Winter Gardens Ballroom on Saturday 20th March.

The couples who secure their place are required to pay a £100 entry fee (that’s just £10 per couple each training session!) and are encouraged to raise a minimum of £500 (excluding Gift Aid) in sponsorship as part of this fundraiser. Couples will be performing in the Grand Finale in front of an audience of around 300 people and will be reserved three tables per couple to sell to friends and family for the Grand Finale for support on the night.

If you would like to be considered as one of our couples for Strictly Fun Dancing 2027, please complete the below application form and return to us by Friday 16^th October 2027. All applicants will be contacted by Friday 30^th October 2026 of the outcome.

Tickets for our glitziest event of the year will be on sale in mid December, to express an interest in attending please email Nicola.slark@westonhospicecare.org.uk and we’ll be in touch once tickets go on sale.
