Children aged 4-11 are invited to take part in a Photo Competition…
In conjunction with the event, the hospice is running a photo competition for children (aged 4-11) to get involved with. Children are challenged to draw, paint or photograph the Grand Pier. Entries are submitted by emailing them to Kirsty.simmons@westonhospicecare.org.uk before 9 November.
The entries will need to be accompanied with a minimum donation of £5 per entry – the donations can be made separately via the hospice’s website via the donate button (Please reference your donation with your name, Photo Competition entry, child’s name). Each child who enters will receive a super-exciting Grand Pier ride pass worth £11.50. See example below…
What happens after your Child’s entry is submitted…
The entries will then be displayed on social media before the event with the winner announced at the Lipinski Light Switch On event. Votes (in the form of likes on Facebook) will be counted when deciding the winner.
This fantastic festive event and the super fun photo competition is taking place to raise vital funds for Weston Hospicecare. A hospice charity which serves Weston, North Somerset and Sedgemoor areas. Each year more than 1,500 are directly cared for by the hospice which costs £11,500 a day to run. This festive fun matters and we encourage all corners of our community to get involved, have fun and give the support to give care to people in our community.
