Lee Harvey, of Weston, decided to take on his own month long challenge to raise money for Weston Hospicecare who cared for his mum before Christmas.
He is aiming to run and hike 200km in March to raise funds for the charity. So far his supporters have given an incredible £706 which will go towards supporting the hospice’s services.
Lee says “I would like to say thank for everything the hospice did for mum at the hospice. She was always made comfortable as all the staff were amazing.
“Even after her passing, the support shown to the family was heart-warming, especially to my step dad.
“In memory of mum and to do my bit, I wanted to give myself a goal and raise money for the hospice.”
