Open Gardens is recruiting for it’s 2023 appeal!
Supporters, staff and volunteers open up their gardens to raise money to support the hospice.
The community fundraiser sees hundreds of visitors to privates gardens across North Somerset.
In 2022, more than £6500 was raised by the initiative in support of those in need of hospice care services.
We are asking for people to open their gardens in aid of the hospice during the Summer months, between May – September 2023.
All profits from fundraising will go towards supporting Weston Hospicecare’s care and support. The hospice has been serving Weston-super-Mare and northern Somerset since 1989.
The charity provides holistic support to more than 1,600 people each year through a tailored plan involving all care provisions.
The hospice compromises of an Inpatient Unit, Day Hospice, Wellbeing Centre, a team of Community Nurses and a Family Support Team.
Each minute, it costs the hospice £7.64 to operate. This means in 2022 you funded 14.5 hours of complete hospice care to our community through supporting this programme.
