Are you ready to light up the night? The Moonlight Beach Walk will return once again in 2024 and we can’t wait to see you supporting Weston Hospicecare!
On Saturday 14 September hundreds of Weston Hospicecare supporters will take on the spectacular Moonlight Beach Walk and illuminate Weston’s seafront in light and laughter, choosing from either the 10km or 5km route.
Participants will be able to decorate their exclusive Moonlight Beach Walk t-shirt and candle bags in remembrance of lost loved ones, it’s always a very touching moment to see everyone walk through the line of the candle bags lined up along Weston Beach at the start of their walk.
The night will also be packed full of fun with warm-ups, sparklers, entertainment, selfie stations, light-up merchandise and of course your glass of fizz at the after-party in celebration.
What’s included in the price:
- Entry to the chosen Moonlight Beach Walk 10km or 5km route
- Moonlight Branded Walk T-shirt
- In-memory candle bag to decorate and display on the beach
- Sparkler station for some great photo opportunities

How can I take part?
Simply complete the online form to register yourself for either the 5km or 10km walk. You will be able to collect your t-shirt and candle bag the week prior to the event so you can decorate before the night, or you will be able to collect on the night.

Did you know it costs £5.5 million to run the hospice a year? With only 18% of funding coming from the NHS, events like Moonlight Beach Walk are so crucial. Your entry fee only really covers the cost of entering the event, and it is your sponsorship that supports patients at Weston Hospicecare – so whether you are walking the 10km or the 5km every step really makes a difference.
If one person taking part in Moonlight Beach Walk was able to raise £100 this could pay for four child bereavement support sessions, or pay for two patients to be assessed by a Doctor in IPU. Imagine what we could do together if everyone taking part did the same.
