A photographer who has made his living shooting stunning Somerset landscapes is marking his retirement by holding a sale of prints in aid of Weston Hospicecare.
Simon Parry has been a professional photographer for more than 40 years, and is donating a range of his stock prints to be sold in aid of the hospice.
Simon has regularly donated his work to the hospice over the course of his career and many of the photographs displayed around the hospice’s Jackson-Barstow House headquarters in Uphill are his.
The former Royal Air Force photographer said: “I’m delighted to be able to donate my prints to Weston Hospicecare.
“The work that goes on here to help those in need is fantastic and it is the main reason I have decided to donate.
“My prints consist of photographs mainly from the local area and it would be great for anyone to pop into the hospice and have a look.”
Prices start from just £5 with all the proceeds to be donated to the hospice on Simon’s behalf.
Anyone keen to check out Simon’s work is welcome to pop into the hospice reception area; click here for more information about how to find or contact us.
