We are desperately looking for a number of lovely volunteers to help out at our Mendip Challenge on Sunday 12 June 2022.
So many of you have come forward so far and we can’t thank you enough, but we still need more people to make the event happen.
We are especially looking for people to help marshal out on the route. We have a range of roles available spread over the whole day at Weston-super-Mare Cricket Club and along the route. We would love to hear from you!
Here is a list of the range of roles left to fill on the day:
(where there is 1 slot available you will always be placed with another volunteer)
WSM Cricket Club:
· Registration: 09:00 – 12:30 (2 slots)
· Medals: VARIOUS SLOTS FROM 12:00 TO 21:00
· HQ marshal: 15:00 – 20:00 (2 slots)
· Raffle: 12:00 – 17:30 (2 slots) and 17:00 – 21:00 (2 slot)
· Merchandise stall: 14:00- 17:00 (2 slots), 16:00-19:00 (2 slots)
Route:
· Winscombe marshal: 09:00 to 13:00 (1 slot) and 12:45 to 16:30 (1 slot)
· Roman Road marshal (refreshments): 17:15 – 19:15 (2 slot)
· Bleadon A370 marshal: 10:45 – 14:00 (1 slot) and 13:15 – 17:00 (1 slot)
· Brean Down Cycle Path junction marshal: 13:45 – 17:00 (1 slot) and 16:45 – 20:00 (1 slot)
· Broadway marshal, Uphill: 09:15 – 12:45 (1 slot) and 12:30 – 15:45 (1 slot)
· Uphill Way marshal: 12:15 – 15:45 (1 slot)
