Indulge in a brand new hobby this Autumn by taking part in Weston Hospicecare’s amazing watercolour art classes.
Wells artist and international watercolour tutor, David Simmons, is running a ten week course to teach Weston Hospicecare supporters the craft of watercolour painting.
David’s style is described as “loose and impressionistic” while using the medium to produce atmospheric effects.
The course is designed for beginners in watercolours and classes will begin on Monday 13 September and run each week for ten weeks between 10am-12pm at the Day Hospice at Jackson-Barstow House.
A suggested minimum donation of £120 has been put in place to secure one of the twelve spaces available, with every penny being donated to support the work of the hospice.
Students will also need to provide their own equipment which they’ll need to bring to the classes once they have secured their space. Click here to find out what you need.
David has taught for a number of years at Bishop’s Palace in Wells and has also taught in Pakistan and Italy.
